How this works
  • Paste the video ID from VdoCipher (or the whole VdoCipher link) and press Publish. The ID is checked with VdoCipher first.
  • It is saved to the site and goes live by itself in about a minute. This page shows Live once students can watch it.
  • A lesson without a video class gets one with Add a video class; a further part becomes Part 2, Part 3 … where you place it.
  • Classroom + Live Practice students must watch 90% of every video class of a lesson before a class that needs that lesson, so a new video counts for them too.

How batches work

A batch is a list of students. Adding someone gives them every exercise and the notes of the batch level for 3 months (no video classes); removing them ends it. Adding closed at the end of 4 October. Trainers are not in batches: allot them levels under Trainers.

Add a student by hand

For someone who paid you outside the website, or a free place. They get the same access as a website purchase.

How this works

Every manual invoice has a number from the LP/26-27 series, given out by the system: no gaps, no repeats. Students abroad make their own on the invoice page (send them that link); it says AWAITING PAYMENT until you mark it paid. Cashfree payments keep their LP- order numbers and are not here.

Mark paid on a course invoice enrols the student at once with the same emails as a website purchase (a new email gets the "set your password" invite). On a one-to-one invoice it sends a "payment received" email; the Classroom grant for a pack is still given by Claude. An invoice not paid by its due date turns into Not paid by itself; its number stays. It can still be marked paid if the money comes late.

The lesson rule
  • Pick the lesson a class needs. That lesson and every lesson before it must be finished.
  • Finished = 90% of the video, the writing task, 2 other exercises.
  • Joined after Class 1: first 5 classes open. Live Practice only: never locked.
How support works

Requests sent from the Help button. Each one has already been analysed; nothing is changed on an account until you press a button here. Replies go out from techsupport@lingopundit.com. A question keeps the ticket open; an explanation or an "it is done" reply resolves it; a student who replies to any of our emails reopens it automatically.
